Do dyslexia and stuttering share a processing deficit?

• Dyslexia and stuttering co-occur far more often than expected. Both populations show a similar degree of phonological difficulty. There might be common underlying deficit between both conditions. This study assessed the prevalence childhood in adults with dyslexia (AWD) who stutter (AWS). In addition, linguistic profiles 50 AWD, 30 AWS 84 neurotypical were measured.
